Raging Libertarian able to see both sides of an issue. I hate mass hysteria and thinking like the group. I am in the 99% but do not begrudge the 1% for their success.  I mean, think about it. The  1% are people like Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Mark Zukenberg, Ted Turner (he's still in the 1% right), most Hollywood Celebs, the Kardashians (okay, I DO resent their being in the 1% what the hell did they do?? No talent), the Clintons, Nancy Pelosi, most politicians.

The 1% is something we should all strive to be and be happy we live in a country where we are free to use our ideas to make money.

Devoted foodie, lover of good wine. Happily married. Mother to 4 (2 by birth, 2 by law).

College educated with superior street smarts. Raised by working class, card carrying union parents--so yes I know how to stretch a buck but also enjoy the finer things in life.

My  favorite quote is from Etta Turner:

In a World where you can be anything, be yourself!

My favorite poem from my favorite author; and actually this is sort of an inside joke with Koontz, he really did not write any poetry book but.....still good!

Dean Koontz.......Book of Broken Sorrows

On the road that I taken,

one day, walking, I awaken,

amazed to see where I have come,

where I'm going, where I'm from.

This is not the path I thought.

This is not the place I sought.

This is not the dream I bought,

just a fever of fate I've caught.

I'll change highways in a while,

at the crossroads, one more mile.

My path is lit by my own fire.

I'm going only where I desire.

On the road that I have taken,

one day, walking, I awaken.

One day, walking, I awaken,

on the road that I have taken.

It is wise to remember:

In the end we only regret chances we didn't take, the relationships we were  too scared to have and the decisions we waited too long to make. There comes a time in your life when you realize  who matters, who doesn't, who never did and who always will.

~Not sure who said the above, if you know please send me a note so I can give credit where credit is due.  Wise words, wish I had said them first!
